Job Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, managing several PPP/PFI advisory commissions and helping develop and bid for new opportunities, you will be a key member of the Project Life Cycle Team. You will be responsible for assisting with the growth of the team and ensuring that advisory commissions are delivered both on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of new PPP and PFI advisory opportunities, particularly in the rail sector
- Financial and performance management of several commissions
- Procurement, cost and contractual advice
- Developing and managing delivery teams Increasing market awareness of PPP/PFI advisory capabilities
Key Requirements
- Essential Experience in providing PFI/PPP advice for Government Authorities, bidding consortia or project funders
- Proven track record of managing commissions to time and budget
- Thorough understanding of PPP process and application
- Familiar with PFI/PPP cost and contract issues
- Experience in transport sector
- Good networker and communicator
- Chartered Civil Engineer or other relevant professional qualification
- Desirable Understanding of Project Management, Risk Management and Value Engineering, ideally in a PPP/PFI context
- Experience in bid preparation and winning new business
- Proven ability to manage and develop staff and teams
- Exposure to financial and legal advisors under PPPs
- Overseas experience and willingness to travel for temporary assignments
