PFI health warning

A professional medical association has accused PFI of being a "millstone" for the NHS.

Speaking in response to the recent PAC report Dr Jonathan Fielden (pictured), chairman of the British Medical Association’s Consultants Committee, said: "PFI has proved a long-term millstone around the neck of the NHS, dragging down otherwise good organisations."
